Haitians are a very diverse group of people. It is a land of diversity, with many different cultures, traditions and customs. The people of Haiti are very proud of their culture and traditions, and they take an active role in their development and the development of Haiti. They are, and have been, a strong and independent nation that has stood up to persecution and survived since the colonial era, when Haitians were taken into slavery. For centuries, Haitians fought for their freedom, often risking their lives to achieve it, and have always welcomed immigrants from nearby countries.
In the 1960s, the United States began moving into Haiti with an invasion force, called the U.S. Military Assistance Command Central (MACCOM). They were very successful in the occupation and economic development of Haiti, but they began to be accused of widespread human rights violations in the aftermath of their operation. They were also accused of causing many deaths in the early hours of the invasion, and of stealing many Haitians that volunteered to work on the newly established plantations.
Eventually, the U.S. withdrew from Haiti in 1991. However, it still maintained a large military base in the southern part of the country, and the U.S. Military took over many other key Haitian institutions, including the Port-au-Prince airport. The U.S. Military also helped install a new, dictatorial government in Haiti. Since the U.S. left, many Haitians have had difficulty in accessing their rights.
The U.S. Military has not been able to leave the country completely due to its large presence. The U.S. and its partners still have a significant presence in the country. They are still trying to implement democracy and create justice in the country, but their efforts have not been welcomed, and many Haitians have said that the United States no longer has good intentions for the country.
A major problem in Haiti is that many Haitians have been forced to leave the country, or lose their rights during the U.S. military presence. Due to the U.S. Military base, the
