Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour was announced at auction where Blue Ivy stole the show.
The rapper was the most expensive musician in history at auction, selling off her entire catalogue for $2.98bn (£2.4bn). The star’s daughter Ivy, who is a rapper herself, was also the most expensive artiste at the auction, selling her entire catalogue for slightly more than $1.6m.
This will be Beyoncé and Blue Ivy’s most expensive album ever. They will release their latest single “7,” which is one of the most viewed videos on YouTube by anyone, with more than 3.8 million views.

1. Beyoncé, “Lemonade”
The album, which is Beyoncé’s second, was previously estimated at £1,700,000 to £2.8m, meaning that her and husband Jay-Z will have spent around $12m on the album.
2. Mariah Carey, “The Emancipation of Mimi”
The singer’s first album, “Smooth Operator,” was the most expensive at auction; it sold for $10.2m. The singer is also the only female artiste to get multiple nominations from the Grammy Awards for the best female pop vocal performance category.
3. Elvis Presley, “Presley’s Greatest Hits Volume 2”
The singer sold his first album for $5.95m in 1970, and this will be his third album at auction. It sold for $4.86m.
4. The Beatles, “The White Album”
The Beatles scored four nominations at the Grammy Awards for the best album, as well as three for the best female vocal performance, and two for the best male vocal performance. It cost $20m, which is about $50,000 more than the other four nominees.
