Kanye West assails Jews, abortion in new interview with Lex Fridman

Kanye West has long been a critic of modern Western society and its politics. In his lengthy career, West has taken a lot of shots at the police and the government, as well as at celebrities like Jay-Z and Drake (although most of his lyrics are about Kanye’s feelings for Kim Kardashian).

But, in a new interview with New York Magazine, West took on the powerful issue of Israel’s stance on abortion. So, I do feel that, yeah, I believe that, and I do believe that a choice needs to be made, but I don’t know what the decision will be, but I do believe that and that’s why I’m a pro-life person.”

West’s statement was a reversal of previous comments he’d made on the matter. During an interview with The Daily Beast, West said he could not
