Jennifer Aniston ‘frequently misses work’ due to substance abuse, according to Us Weekly.

And the 39-year-old actress is said to remain a’steadfast supporter’ of her friend.

She is also said to support her friend as she tries to address her health issues.

‘I really feel like Jennifer Aniston is my best friend. She’s a really good friend,’ Perry is quoted as saying to Us.

‘I talk to her all the time – and she’s a really strong person, she sees a lot of things from a lot of different perspectives.

‘We have a great relationship and she’s incredibly supportive of what I do. She really feels like I’m her best friend.’

And the reality star, who split from fiance Ashton Kutcher over the holidays, admitted she feels like ‘a punching bag’ for Aniston.

‘I don’t ever think she’s mad at me, but she knows she can’t get up and walk away from everything because she’s trying to do it,’ the ‘Friends’ star told Us.

‘She’s struggling with her own addiction problems, and she thinks she has to be tough with me. She’s like, “I got this.””

Aniston was the subject of his own reality show, ‘The Girls Next Door’ in July.

According to People, the couple have’mended fences’ after they ‘got into a great fight’.
